Make the World a Brighter Place

Volunteers play an important role at Swann Center. Without their contributions, we couldn't provide the quality service our residents deserve. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, we offer a variety of opportunities to fit your interests and schedule.

Volunteer Opportunities

These are just some of the ways you can make a difference:

  • Gardening (flower beds, weeding)
  • Taking residents on walks
  • Storytelling
  • Ministry
  • Assisting with general maintenance
  • Helping with the art program
  • Volunteering at outings
  • Taking your furry friend to visit residents

Seeing how specific activities, like music and sensory equipment, can light up someone's day and engage them in meaningful ways helped me realize that these services aren't just nice to have—they're essential for their well-being and development. It's not just about providing basic care but also about creating opportunities for joy, engagement, and personal growth.
